In this video of today I am sharing the recipe of making Chinese Fried Rice. This Chinese Fry Rice is very tasty and easy to prepare. So let's start making Chinese Fry Rice ...
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Basmati Rice
- 2 tsp Salt
- 4-5 tsp of Vegetable Oil
- 100 gm Spring onions
- 1/4 cup Chopped Carrot
- 1/4 cup Cabbage
- 1 nos Chopped Capsicum
- 3-4 nos Green Chillies
- Coriander Leaves
- 1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 tbsp Soya Sauce
- 1 tbsp Red Chilli Sauce
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Crushed Black Pepper
Method:
- Glimpse of Chinese Fry Rice
- To cook Chinese Fry Rice, take 1 cup of Basmati Rice
- Wash it throughly and drain
- Now take a vessel and fill 1 litre of water
- Put on stove to boil the water
- Once water starts boiling, add 1 tsp of Salt and 2 tsp of Cooking Oil
- Then add washed Basmati Rice in boiling water
- Cook rice on medium flame to 80% only
- "It may take upto 10-12 minutes to cook 80%"
- Stir gently once to prevent stickiness
- After 10 minutes, take out some cooking rice using a spoon and crush few to check the boil status
- "If it beaks easily not mashes then it is ready"
- Now drain it using a strainer
- Pour some cold water on filtered rice to prevent stickiness
- Take a pan with 2-3 tsp of Vegetable oil and let it heat
- While oil is heating let's see the veggies being used:
- 100 gm of Chopped spring onions, top and bottom part separated,
- 1/4 cup of Chopped Carrot,
- 1/4 cup of Cabbage,
- 1 nos of Chopped Capsicum,
- 3-4 nos of Green Chillies,
- And few stems of Chopped Coriander Leaves
- Now get back to heating oil and add 1 tsp of Ginger Garlic Paste
- Saute for 10-15 seconds on high flame
- Add Chopped top part of Spring Onions and fry for 30-35 seconds
- Then add chopped Green Chillies and fry until softens
- Now add chopped veggies like: Capsicum, Cabbage and Carrot
- And fry on high flame for 2 minutes or softens
- Then add sauces
- 1 tbsp of Soya Sauce,
- 1 tbsp of Red Chilli Sauce,
- And 1 tbsp of Vinegar
- Mix all with frying vegetables
- Now add cooked rice and Salt to taste
- Add some Chopped Spring Onions stems and Coriander Leaves
- Mix all gently then add 1/2 tsp of Crushed Black Pepper
- Let it fry for 30 more seconds on high flame then it is ready to serve
- Turn the flame off and serve it
- Use Coriander Leaves and Spring Onions to garnish
